    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=14">Pacman</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3393<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Oct&nbsp;20&nbsp;2010 at 5:32pm<br /><br />Bill it can be restrictive when you go around the table on an important issue and listen to say 3 minutes each of discussion, which is about 20 minutes and in that time listening to the others you develop questions but you have already had you second chance at speaking. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Now they are going to vote on whether you can continue the discussion and be allowed to ask your questions or even make a statement concerning what was said.&nbsp;&nbsp;Just look at last night one more vote and you wouldn't be allowed to ask your question even if it was the deciding factor for your vote.&nbsp; It is just going from one extreme to another for no reason.&nbsp; A simple Gavel bang on the table would have put a stop to the mess two weeks ago, instead we get this.&nbsp; There is no need for it.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>This is not the House of representatives where 435 people spend more time kissing ass and being sarcastic to each other than they do conducting the countries business.&nbsp; This is 7 people soon to be 5 who need to interact for the well being of the city and&nbsp;with the Cities Administration.&nbsp;&nbsp; Which&nbsp;currently is not occurring much of the time.&nbsp;</DIV>]]>

This after Sundays Middletown Journal quoted Mayor Mulligan saying he liked a free flow of ideas and healthily debate and would keep things set that way and see what happens.
