I now have 81 signatures on my petitions!!! Thumbs%20Up

I amextremely confident that at least 70 ofthese signatures are of residents properly registered to vote in the FIRSTWARD!!!  Big%20smile

I plan tofile my petitions tomorrow (Wednesday) before close of business at the Board ofElections office.

I wouldespecially like to thank Tomahawk (and a couple of other members of THISWEBSITE who, for the moment do not wish to be mentioned) for going out of theirway to sign my petitions!!!  Clap

I would alsolike to thank all of those people, from both inside and outside of the FirstWard, that offered to contribute to my campaign.  Even though I immediately DECLINED alloffers, I have been truly amazed and deeply moved by the willingness of peoplethroughout the city to offer money to support change in our city government, even in these trying financial times.

LMAO,

Thank you very much for your kind offer, but my campaign will be completely self-financed and low budget.  I don't believe that a person should have to accept THOUSAND of dollars in campaign contributions or spend THOUSANDS of dollars to win a seat on a small town city council.

I do have an idea how you and others wil be able to help at practically no cost and with very little effort later on in my campaign.  I will announce this idea later on.

Mr. Lewis,
Thank you for your good wishes.  I appreciate your support.

I believe that I already have sufficient signatures, and have a plan to garner several "cushion" signatures this evening, so I will be filing tomorrow, August 10, if I can get to the Board of Elections office before 4:00 pm.

I'll try to stop at "The Bash" on my way back home.
