The wonder and magic of a Clydesdalehorse walking on the street andsidewalks of our downtown neighborhoodwas a real thrill for a few hundredpeople in Punta Gorda Florida today.

From 12 to 2 PM his twoguardians/trainers allowed us to walkwith him, pet and talk with him, takepictures of him and with him. He was very well behaved. No balking orshying away when stepping up on thesidewalk or around street signs. Nobatting his beautiful eyes when the kidstalked in their loud voices. No snortingor shaking his head when we all crowdedin to pet him.

There are three teams of BudweiserClydesdales that travel the USA. Eachteam has 10 horses - 8 for pulling thewagon with two in reserve. This horse ispart of a team visiting Florida wherethey are to be shown at the ArcadiaRodeo. Arcadia is the town inapproximately the center of Floridacattle country.

The young lady holding his harness sayseach team is on the road about 300 daysevery year. Her particular team is basedin St. Louis.
