I watched the final jump last night & the big flag was a sight to see. Sadly just a handful of spectators for something so impressive. ]]> Fri, 15 Jun 2012 14:13:18 +0000 http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4616&PID=33479&title=flag-day-tribute#33479 Flag Day Tribute : That was fantastic! It was a beautiful sight yesterday. Also, about 45 Aeronca arrived for their convention this weekend. They think 100+ will show, public welcome.]]> Fri, 15 Jun 2012 06:56:14 +0000 http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4616&PID=33468&title=flag-day-tribute#33468 Flag Day Tribute : Now THAT would've been... http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4616&PID=33467&title=flag-day-tribute#33467 Author: Mike_Presta

They didn't have any ceremonies here at Wright-Patt yesterday either for Flag Day. You would have thought a military installation would have recognized the flag, right? Not so. Just not important enough I guess. This was a very nice thing to do for the jumpers to pay tribute to the flag. ]]> Fri, 15 Jun 2012 06:32:29 +0000 http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4616&PID=33465&title=flag-day-tribute#33465 Flag Day Tribute : Thanx to MUSA for the heads up... http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4616&PID=33455&title=flag-day-tribute#33455 Author: 409

Thanx to MUSA for the heads up on the Flag Day tribute.
Seems the CITY and the local paper weren't interested in promoting this event! Imagine that !?
Small turnout due to lack of promotion.
Note the size of the flag to the size of the jumper.
