quality knowledgeable staff
nice bartender
waitresses know the menu
get there early
 
if u like breaded cod, I think this place does it as well as anyone
on-site made tartar sauce and ketchup
sub onion rings 4 fries
 
crab cakes can be very good also
 
quality ingredients and different menu choices
 
can be up there with Stefano's and the Meadows

The current remodel was the brainchild of  Jon Fadden a Monroe Fireman. You haven't been to Monroe until you been to The Red Onion.

I had dinner at the Red Onion last night. Had the Jack Daniels strip steak special. Excellent! Looks like they do not have a website, I was looking for an online menu. Anyone have a recommendation for a dinner order there?
