ORDINANCE NO. O2014-63

AN ORDINANCEESTABLISHING PAY RANGES, PAY POLICY AND BENEFITS FORVARIOUS SALARIED AND HOURLY CLASSIFICATIONS WITHIN THE SERVICE OF THE CITY. BEIT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Middletown,Butler and WarrenCounties, Ohio: (Effective January 1, 20145 except asotherwise noted.

(F) Assistant CityManager Designation. The City Manager may designate one department headas an Assistant City Manager to serve at the pleasure of the City Manager. Anydepartment head so designated shall continue to perform their dutiesas a department head, but shall perform additional duties as requested by theCity Manager. The Assistant City Manager designee shall serve as the Acting CityManager in the absence of the City Manager. During the term of suchdesignation, the designee shall receive a stipend for each pay period equivalent tofour thousand dollars ($4,000.00) per year.
