From the Journal...
Man rips big-screen TV off McDonald’s wall MIDDLETOWN — A man left a local McDonald’s with more than a Happy Meal. According to Middletown police, a man walked into the McDonald’s, 1301 S. Breiel Blvd., on Saturday, placed an order, but before receiving his food, he tore a 32-inch TV off the wall and ran out of the restaurant. Witnesses said the man was last seen crossing Roosevelt Boulevard and running south on East Street WELL ALRIGHT NOW! GOOD PLAN....WELL THOUGHT OUT....PLACING AN ORDER WAS A GOOD DIVERSION....NO WITNESSES....NOT TOO OBVIOUS....NO DOUBT, ONE OF MIDDLETOWN'S FINEST CITIZENS! AND PRAY TELL, WHERE IS EAST STREET AROUND ROOSEVELT BLVD. IN THE VICINITY OF THIS MCDONALDS? NEVER HEARD OF THE STREET. |

East Street is a very short street, south off of Roosevelt Blvd., just west of Palmer Temps.
If one were to drive south out of Donato's/Skyline's parking lot, and cross Roosevelt, one would drive almost directly onto East Street. PS: From the description of the crime, the perp was undoubtably an employee of the city planning department.

And, perhaps that same planning dept. perp delivered the TV to the city building which had a dept. that needed a TV to watch their ever-so-popular XMAS videos. Dunno. Thank you for the info. on East St. |
