A productive run with Mr.Triick and staff, looking forward to once again working with Mr.Slagle and the same support staff.
Should be no start-up issues with Mr.Slagle, since he iswell-versed on the community issues and the Chamber position. Expect to see a new younger leader asap. Super Businesswatch session there Monday evening @ 5:30, starting with discussion of local crime incidents, trends and pro-active measures, followed by a police dept. presentation on business security/safety tips and recommendations. All small business owners are enccouraged to attend--this is usually well worth the time and effort. Couldn't pull it off without support of the Chamber and staff, + Mr.Slagle will be there.

lol no food-no drink, other than group dinner at the Liberty following.
no fantasy with this group
we see the crime every day--right in the middle of it all
we deal directly with the police dept., made possible by Chamber interaction
Mr.Slagle was there, and has been very helpful so far.
no one else seemed to want the job
come join us
no charge--no begging for $$
strictly out to help businesses be prepared and deal effectively with our crime
maybe Frickers should have attended
see for yourself

spider i hear ya on the crimes-drugs have gone hog wild in mid-town.. i feel for all the good people, home owners and businesses that have had to deal with such a big increase in just the last 7 years since i packed bags and left. can see why many have closed doors because of it, and why any would want to open any doors in a crime -drug infested city that mid-town has become.. it happens in the city im in now, just no way near the scale of whats goin on in mid-town..MPD have their hands full on trying to have a save city, thanks to city leaders past and present, they have caused more problems than you can shake a stick at...
