Price's payments and benefits ended in July I think. But Brown is getting full payment plus benefits as well as the assistant who is acting superintendent, but I assume she is getting her normal pay not super pay. But it shouldn't take long for the board to start paying the assistant full time super pay though. Then we can have two part time super's getting full time super pay !! Confused

Price is getting his monthly Salary until he finds a new job or 1 year is up which ever comes first.

Details of the agreement

The separation agreement outlines a payment plan, which Ebright said is commonly included in separation agreements.

Price, who earned $125,634 in 2008, will be paid $10,417 a month until either he receives a superintendent contract from another school or for 12 consecutive months. If his new contract pays less, the district shall make monthly payments making up the difference for up to 12 months following his resignation.

The district will pay Price for a portion of his accrued and unused sick leave and all accrued and unused vacation days.

Current School Board members approved this? Then current School Board members should be out on the street in November.

More wasteful spending of the Taxpayers money.  Paying for the old Super, Paying for the Interim Super that hasn't even worked yet and is out sick and paying for the search for a new Super.  A New Super could cost $200k+ before he is even hired at this rate.  Remember this in 2010 when they start pushing for the levies that are all expiring at the same time.

Well, he had a contract. Sure its a waste, but that's what happens when the school board renews the contract of a tyrant.

Hey kasson, you're right! Is there no one who has filed to run so that we voters can see a new face? Otherwise, we're stuck with Andrew, Tyus and the rest of the stooges that have created debacles like the Brown/Price fiasco. Where are all the "John Sauters" of the town that will run? This school system is with these same 's.
