2007-2008 School Hours Reduced

Student hours will be shortened for the 2007 - 2008 school year, with all grades ending at 1:30 pm. School hours will be:

High School student hours:
7:30 A. M. - 1:30 P. M.

Middle School student hours:
7:30 A. M. - 1:30 P. M.

Elementary School student hours:
8:00 A. M. - 1:30 P. M.

-        All day Kindergarten student hours:
8:00 A. M. - 1:30 P. M.

-        Morning Pre School and Kindergarten student hours:
8:00 A. M. - 10:30 A. M.

-        Afternoon Pre School and Kindergarten student hours:
11:00 A. M. - 1:30 P. M.

The school levy failure will cost each parent time and money because they have do do something about the early closing at school.

Can you really school kids and be done at 1:30 anyway?

This reason alone could be prime motiviation for parents with children in the school system to pass the levy. $67 a year to have your kids out of your hair for another hour?
