The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is focused on keeping Ohioans safe this summer. At their website, Ohio.gov, they have listed several ways to help make sure you have a healthy but fun-filled summer.

I think I can have summer fun without someone "dictating" how I should do it. Have the american people become so ignorant that they can't bbq without instructions on safety ? Whatever happened to common sense ? Or is this just another step by big brother ? Angry

Sarah- with all due respect to your post on safety, I would suspect that most of the folks here have enough common sense to practice being safe during the summer. I know that I have gone through 60 summers and have had ample time to acquaint myself with summer fun and safety. Haven't cut my hand off with the lawmower as yet or drowned in a bucket of water washing the cars. The irony of your post is that you are suggesting that we contact a government agency in Ohio to suggest safety tips. I would suspect the last thing anyone needs is to take the advice of anyone in government. From top to bottom, they are as inept as a human being can be. Elimination of these "information type" government programs and the government employees managing them would be helpful to the general public. The "dumbing down" of the people continues.
