Provided below are HUD household income eligibility limits for grants already received and applied for:

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program - $685,000 (FY 2009)
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program - $180,000 (Supplemental Stimulus Funds)
Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program - $400,000+ (FY 2009)
HUD Neighborhood Stabilization Program - Round One (NSP-1) - $2,144,000
HUD Neighborhood Stabilization Program - Round Two (NSP-2) - $19,000,000+ (Approval Pending)

As you can see, income limits are now substantially greater than current CDBG and HOME Programs limits.

For example:

Household Size    CDBG/HOME Income Limits    NSP-1 & NSP-2 Income Limits
(80% of Area Median Income)  (120% of Area Median Income)

One Person                         $38,750                              $  58,145
Two Persons                       $44,300                              $  66,450
Three Persons                    $49,800                               $  74,700
Four Persons                      $55,350                               $  83,025
Five Persons                       $59,800                               $  89,700
Six Persons                         $64,200                               $  96,300
Seven Persons                    $68,650                               $102,975
Eight Persons                      $73,050                               $109,575

Hmm...invite a few people over for the weekend and a few of the same folks will be eligible for more again!   Looks like beautification ... oops, I mean neighborhood stabilization... will be BOOMING in the South Main Street Historic District...oops, I mean poverty-sticken Second Ward...again next year!!!

By the way, does anyone know how many people live in the Sorg Mansion???
