Demolition continues from the west side next to the currently operating facility.

They seem to be leaving the building facing Central Avenue behind the old First National Bank building intact.

I talked to one of the demo guys about 2-3 weeks ago and he said that area would be the last to come down.

Great! I wondered if they would keep the engraved stone. I wonder where it will be relocated.

.

Thanks for the picts.

Any idea where the Erected By/ Rebuilt by plaque will be placed?

And what happened to  the mural?

Prehaps some of the bricks could be donated to the Libary?

My dad worked there about 1964 thru 1971.  It was a job he really enjoyed.
