FCCLA Feed the Children Spagetti Dinner

by Miami Student:

On January 17th, the Early Childhood and Culinary Arts Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members from Butler Tech/D.
Russel Lee will be sponsoring a Spaghetti Dinner to raise money for the FCCLA National Outreach Project, Feed The Children.

The dinner is from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the D. Russel Lee Cafeteria. The cost of $5.00 ($3.00 for Senior Citizens and children under 3) includes, drink, garlic bread, and a hefty plate of spaghetti. In addition, if you donate a new or gently used book you will receive a free dessert!!

All books will be donated to the Booker T. Washington Community Center in Hamilton. The student's goal is to raise enough money to purchase a truck from Feed The Children, which is $7,500 dollars. If they raise enough money to purchase a truck, they have a "say" in where the truck gets distributed. The idea is to keep the truck here in Butler County!

The students have been working very hard and I encourage everyone to attend!!! How awesome is it to see high school students who are part of a leadership organization join together for SUCH a great cause! These are the future leaders of America...let's support them!!!

Discuss it on The Voice: Feed the Children Benefit
