What are some good ones to try to attend? My husband and I are in our mid 20's and expecting a baby this winter. I've looked up some online-a methodist church right across from the library, there is one on Marshall Rd I believe, and there is also a Presbyterian church on Briel. Also there is one right across the street from Meijer too.  Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of these churches? Really would just like to attend a church with a friendly pastor, congregation, and meet some people our age. Thanks for your help!

I invite you to New Covenant Church, 4340 Union Rd (next to the Atrium Hospital.) I've been attending there for nearly ten years, and i believe that you might like it.

The Crosspointe Church of Christ on Rt. 122 out by the hospital. We have many families your ages and a family atmosphere. Call the preacher, Jim Kinser. He'd love to talk with you. 513-423-0188.

Please check out First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on Rosedale Road.  We are not one of the mega churches but are a warm, welcoming family.  We, recently, changed our service format to include both traditional and contemporary worship services each Sunday.  Between the two services is Communion where all are together as one family worshiping together.  One thing unique about the Disciples of Christ denomination is that we celebrate communiion every week and it is open to all who are believers in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, not just to those who are mambers of our congregation.  Feel free to research more @ fcc-middletown.org.  Give us a call and, hopefully, visit with us.

In the end, it depends on where you are theologically.   Reformed? Wesleyan/Ana-Baptist? Pentecostal?

And your preferred worship style. Traditional? Contemporary? Blended?

If you haven't found a church to suit you yet, just let me know and perhaps I'll start a new one. Wink
(After I get a few beers in me I sure can preach!!!)

Perhaps I'll even sell coffee and chicken sandwiches from a kiosk in the parking lot!!! LOL LOL LOL
