Now I know that most of you don't believe in spirits and the like, but I have to tell you what happened earleir this evening in a local restaurant (and remember, Halloween is approaching).I sat down at the bar and ordered a beer and an order of CHICKEN wings. It was late, just about midnight (the "witching hour"), so the place was nearly empty. I sipped my beer, and it wasn't long before my order of CHICKEN wings was served.
I spread a napkin across my lap (so as not to offend any of the downtown crowd that might have strayed out this way (remember--no downtown establishments except Buck's is open this late), and just as I reached for the first juicy CHICKEN wing--the entire plate of CHICKEN wings unexplainedly rose from the bar, sailed across the room, and slammed into the wall. What caused this paranormal event??? I don't know, but... I suspect that it was a POULTRY-geist!!!

Mr. Presta, an official bulletin has now been put out to all bar owners to restrict your intake of alcoholic beverages. Your limit has now been established as 1 beer per drinking session. If there was still 3/2 beer available, you would be required to drink that. We will be monitoring your activities from our previously unmentioned "citizen monitoring center" located "somewhere" in the city building and will be reviewed on a daily basis by "Gilleland's Goon Squad" (GGS) to determine the severity of the crime.
On the other hand, it is not entirely hard to believe this "poultry-geist" story of yours as we all have been conditioned to believe the unbelievable that routinely comes out of city hall and council on a continual basis.

Vet,
3.2 beer is still available; it just goes by a different name: light beer! How do you think they remove the calories in beer? There are only two things in that bottle or can; water and alcohol. Water doesn't have calories so that only leaves one option. I'd say Mr. Presta should probably be checked for drinking the kool-aid that city council members drink. They certainly seem to be suffering from delusions. Perhaps Mr. Presta had someone switch his beverage!!! lol |
