Recently my billing invoice took a sizeable jump without adding any services.
This month, I had another small increase.
Anyone else seeing this, or know the reasoning why?

Doesn't Council have to approve this sort of thing, or only when the contract is up for renewal?
Anyone remember any discussion on this?

Spider, we don't have Time Warner Cable for TV. We have Direct TV. However, we do use Time Warner for internet (Roadrunner) and for the home phones. Haven't seen a hefty increase on the bill as of last month but had heard there will be an increase for the modem used. The bill for internet and the phones usually runs around a hundred bucks a month.
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.

Spiderjohn,

We had a discussion about this under "Middletown News, Info and Happenings".  The thread was "Need help with Time Warner issue".

I hope that this helps.

PS:  They suddenly raised my rate about 20% for no good reason a couple of months ago as well.  City Hall could help with this.  Whether they will or not is another story, since neither of us live in the "right" area.
