We can get Middletown on that list. All they need is another 40 or 50 million from us tax payers to get there.

Local high schools among nation’s best

ROSS TWP. —
Twelve high schools in southwest Ohio have made Newsweek’s Best High Schools List.

The list includes 2,000 public high schools across the country that the magazine says are proven to be the most effective in turning out college-ready graduates.

High schools in southwest Ohio named to the list are:

•Ross High School
•Kings High School

•Lebanon High School
•Walnut Hills High School
•Indian Hill High School
•Wyoming High School
•Madeira High School
•Turpin High School
•Sycamore High School
•Mariemont High School
•Loveland High School
•Anderson High School

Newsweek bases the selections on graduation rate, college acceptance, the number of students enrolled and tested in college-geared courses and their scores

I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.
