Jalin Marshall has alot of potential but he needs to stop leaving the ball on the ground. Had two fumbles on Saturday. Not acceptable for an OSU performance. A little more ball control and a little less flash. He'll need more time.
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Everyone has reacted to Jalin Marshall's two fumbles at Minnesota on Saturday, one on offense, the other on a dropped punt.

The redshirt freshman heard it on social media from a vocal, but likely comparatively small, segment of the fanbase on Twitter.

Receivers coach Zach Smith said he brought up that reaction to Marshall.

"It never fazed him, it didn't seem like it fazed him, but I wanted to address it because I know he saw it, and I know he's young," Smith said, "so I wanted to make sure that I addressed it with him before it festered into something else."

Sounds like a few others noticed the fumbles also. Not to worry. Jalin will be a valuable asset to OSU football in his remaining three years. Starting to gel now on the end around flanker sprint plays. Quick turning up the field. Urban is building his speed program similar to his days at Florida in the SEC. Won't be long before he outpaces the rest of the Big Ten in speed. The rest of the Big Ten teams better start recruiting speed now in the key positions to keep up. Big slow plodding teams with the old Big Ten mentality of "power will win" are becoming a thing of the past.
