A quiet, bloodless coup. Hooray for the people of Egypt!!! But what is next? Things are far from settled. Democracy is far from a given.

It is ironic, too, that while oppressed people around the world strive for democracy, we here in what was once the world’s greatest democracy move towards totalitarianism.

Go figure.

Egypt is a mess but I'm glad to see the people fighting the system unlike in America.I don't think you'll ever see this happen here, unfortunately.

America a once proud industrial and independent country now 100% dependent on imports from China and gasoline from some middle eastern country is quickly turning the tide to become a third world nation. The people need to rise up and do what the Egytians are doing but it will never happen. The government has quietly put the clamps so tight around our heads our brains are mush and only accept what the government wants us to know and do.Sad,sad day.
No more democrats no more republicans, vote Constitution Party !!

Our real problem, thanks to our outrageous national debt, is the dollar eventually being replaced as the global currency.  The dollar will plummet in value.  This will in turn cause many countries and even businesses here to possibly refuse to accept dollars.   Say hello to the 1930's all over again.  Better invest in gold, guns, and food!
