Oh well this is what happens when you get mothers upset. Especially ones that are employed by the county. Everyone has a closest.

Can you say coverup. Well at least there weren't any little Boys involved in this latest episode of " Get Drunk and you get a get out of jail card". 18 year olds who would like to remember their senior year as a positive are now being ? about what they heard and smelled. Hey don't worry in another month you can get sh*t faced on school grounds walk by police who look the other way hope you don't kill one of my family members and go to church that Sunday and get a free pass to do it all over again.

From three very gifted seniors mouths " He was Wasted " will be rethinking our childerns future out at the prison. Never ends.

Fenwick principal cleared of accusations about conduct at prom, archdiocese says

The principal at Bishop Fenwick High School was cleared following an investigation of alleged misconduct at the school’s prom, according to officials with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Several parents called Dr. Jim Rigg, the superintendent of schools for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and accused Principal Mike Miller of being intoxicated and making comments of a sexual nature to female students during the school’s prom May 11 at the Savannah Center in West Chester Twp.

“Based upon our investigation findings, we have determined that Mr. Miller was not under the influence of alcohol nor did he encourage students to behave in a sexual matter. We have learned that Mr. Miller did make some comments of a questionable nature and have taken action accordingly. However, based upon our investigation we do not feel that formal employment action is necessary,” Rigg said

SO IF THE ABOVE EXONERATION IS FACTUAL, EXACTLY WHAT DID SEVERAL PARENTS SEE TO PROMPT THEM TO CALL? HE MUST HAVE BEEN BEHAVING IN A WAY TO HAVE BROUGHT HIS BEHAVIOR TO THEIR ATTENTION. I'M SURE THEY JUST DIDN'T FABRICATE THESE CHARGES.

Well for Fenwick it might be principal retention since the word is he showed up to the senior prom "Wasted" and began making comments about how easy some of the young ladies dresses could be taken off. Don't know how true this is but I'm hearing he may not have a job at the end of the week. If true why wait till Friday. Well at least the tradition of drinking on school grounds during their 60th will fall right in line. Unbelievable!!!

The state is proposing changes to the State Teachers Retirement System and the Schools Employees Retirement System that may result in more contributions and less take-home pay for educators, and could push the retirement eligibility age back at least five years for many teachers.

I believe we all got our retirement pushed back 5 years if you are dependent on a 401K. Make that 10 years.

Voluntary teacher departures spike
Pension uncertainty, retiring baby boomers among factors.

Area school districts are seeing a spike in retirements and resignations, which many attribute to changes being made at the state level — including potential changes in public employee pension plans — the climate at local districts and the number of teachers eligible for retirement.

The state is proposing changes to the State Teachers Retirement System and the Schools Employees Retirement System that may result in more contributions and less take-home pay for educators, and could push the retirement eligibility age back at least five years for many teachers

Kathy Dunn, who is retiring this year after 40 years teaching at Vandalia-Butler City Schools, said potential alterations to cost-of-living adjustments at the state level caused her to take a hard look at when she should leave education.
“I wanted to get things locked in before any more changes,” Dunn said. “They never used to mess with teachers’ retirement.”

WELL MS. DUNN, THEY NEVER USE TO ASK US FOR MORE MONEY FROM OUR PAYCHECKS TO OFFSET THE PREMIUM COSTS FOR HEALTH CARE/DENTAL/VISION AND RETIREMENT, BUT THEY STARTED A FEW YEARS AGO. YOU FOLKS ARE PLAYING CATCH-UP.

Debbie Baker, Northmont’s curriculum director, said there also are state-mandated instructional changes looming for the 2014-15 school year, which are causing some teachers to exit early.
“Knowing there will be so much change, with the common core and new standards, as well as the assessments, people just don’t want to deal with it,” Baker said.

CHANGE IN THE WORKPLACE IS INEVITABLE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. MOST PEOPLE DON'T NECESSARILY LIKE IT BUT THEY LIVE WITH IT AND ROLL WITH IT. MOST DON'T HAVE THE OPTION OF RETIREMENT OR LEAVING A JOB IN A BAD ECONOMY.

“Last year, we were making so many cuts that a lot of people who really wanted to stay left because they knew they were saving somebody else’s job,” Baker said.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF DOWNSIZING. BEEN HAPPENING SINCE THE 80's. SOME, LIKE ME, HAVE BEEN ON THE RECEIVING END OF THIS THREE TIMES SINCE 1994.

“Anytime changes are being made and people are not in control of the change, it can put more stress on teachers,” said Dunn

NOT JUST TEACHERS MS. DUNN...EVERYONE FEELS STRESS IN THE WORKPLACE NOWADAYS. IT HAS CHANGED AND NOT NECESSARILY FOR THE BETTER.

THIS IS A NEW REVELATION TO THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN PROTECTED FROM THIS UNTIL NOW. REALITY HAS SET IN AND THE PLAYING FIELD IS BEGINNING TO BE LEVELED BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WORKERS. IMO, IT IS GOOD TO SEE.
