Journal story....

Hamilton council members make job creation their focus

HAMILTON — The newly sworn-in members of City Council said the future of Hamilton comes down to one two-word phrase: job creation.
There is no higher goal in order for the city to have success in the coming years, and all projects have led and are planned to lead to that end goal, according to the four men who took oaths of office for the second time Friday afternoon.
Mayor Pat Moeller and Council members Rob Wile, Robert Brown and Timothy Naab, were sworn in to office in a small and brief ceremony inside Hamilton City Council chambers. Moeller, who faced fellow council member Carla Fiehrer, and Wile, Brown and Naab, were re-elected in November.
The mayor said that council and city staff needs to turn challenges into opportunities and take advantage of those opportunities.
“We are a veteran City Council now,” said Moeller. “The focus shouldn’t be on us, City Council, but on our entire team and staff.”
And the mayor said job creation should be the top priority, which means bringing businesses and jobs to the city.

WOW, BRINGING JOBS AND BUSINESSES TO TOWN. WHAT A CONCEPT! CONGRATULATIONS HAMILTON COUNCIL. YOU FINALLY GET IT......BUT WHEN WILL MIDDLETOWN'S COUNCIL "GET IT"? MERCY.
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.
