In a 7-0 decision announced on September 16, 2008, the Supreme Court of Ohio held that a traffic stop is constitutionally valid when a law enforcement officer witnesses a motorist drift over a lane marking line in violation of R.C. 4511.33, without further evidence of erratic or unsafe driving. The decision was written by Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer.

Why did the Supreme Court have to rule on this? It's already the law. How this made it all the way up to the Supreme Court of Ohio is beyond me.
Another example of waisting taxpayer money.
