I know we have talked in the past, about Atrium's financial donations to Franklin's football stadium and to other cities in the area. Now, we read where Atrium has made a donation to upgrade the turf at Lakota East AND West High Schools( this may be an old story revisited by the Journal) with private donations picking up some of the tab. Question- Does anyone remember when Atrium donated to the Middletown cause or will they only do that if there are contributions from the receiving city? Perhaps they haven't donated to Midd. because there are no private or city funds to match or Midd. doesn't want the Atrium name on anything like "Atrium Field" at Franklin. ???? Just ironic that surrounding cities are benefitting from Atrium except the town where they're located.
