Middletown owes a debt of gratitude to AK Steel.

AK Steel and Armco have donated Millions of dollars to schools, the parks, the city and many charities for over 100 years.

The Middletown city administration and the elected officials did not work hard enough to keep corporate AK in Middletown.


Despite the difficult times in the past, AK is profitable again. Even with world steel surplus, AK Steel keeps cranking out product.


Today, AK steel still is a major economic engine for Middletown, Ohio. As the area's second largest employer,there is no dispute that AK Steel has a greate influence on our local economy.
