Its been 29 years since the world lost one of the great singer song writers, Decemeber 8, 1980 was the day the that John Lennon was shot an killed outside of his New York city apartment.

Easy there Randy Jeremiah- John Wilkes Booth and I were pretty darn close before the shooting, mister!  Oh sure, we had our petty differences with old Abe, but we saw the light and became emancipated. That was forescore and years ago as I remember. I never liked those darn curtains on that balcony. Too many places to hide. I kept telling the authorities that Booth wasn't a candidate for a conceal/carry permit but they never listened. I'm not comfortable talking about this as I don't wish to assassinate ones character.

I didn't go that night, I was waiting for the Senior Citizens' matinee the next afternoon. However, I was at the tavern across the street having a few beers and discussing corruption in politics with a few friends.
