So, it's 8:00pm and I am at the Atrium Medical Center waiting for my baby girl to be delivered. She should be here around 11:00am tomorrow.Skyi, my fiancé, whom some of you have met is doing great. That's terrific Randy!!!!!  An early congratulations to you and your fiance. Now...... when she's old enough to understand sports, please don't tell her about that group of beginners that try to simulate the professional game of football in Cincy. When she finds out how bad they are, she'll never forgive you for telling her about them.

C'mon Randal Joe...... dress little Ember up in a cute little Pittsburgh Steelers outfit and shoot us a picture. Then get busy on that nursery for her with a Steelers theme. When she is old enough to understand sports, you do want her to support a winning franchise, don't you? Think how long little Ember will have to wait to celebrate a Super Bowl win if she follows your team and how many years she will be disappointed. She may have grown up and retired before she sees a contender. You don't want to do that to her, do you? If not the Steelers, you better go with Skyi's Cowboys. They are at least competitive sometimes.

WHOA! Hermes....... no need to go out and buy little Ember a Bengals jersey. I would bet that if you drove down to Paul Brown Stadium and approached any Bengal player, doesn't matter who, they would probably give you all the jerseys you want. Truth be known, they don't want to be caught wearing them. Everyone has a certain amount of pride and I would imagine that it doesn't take long to reach that low depression point wearing orange and black. Make the call. They probably have some people hired from a temp. agency, walking around the stadium right now, trying to give jerseys away free..might even be paying you to take them.....and autographed to boot..... and probably still no takers.

Hermes..... got some seat covers with the Bengals logo on them years ago. Found they junked the car up when installed and was embarrassed when people laughed at them, so found another use for them as a cat box liner when I ran out of regular liners. The cat loves to pee and poop on the covers now. Good to know there is a use for practically anything that appears to be useless when new.

This parenting will be the hardest " Job " you will hever have; however, it will be the MOST REWARDING

  and lots of Forget football or at least save room for ballet, tap, girl scouts, paino lessons, other " sports " and other things Ember might aspire to do. Girly sleepover birthday parties, as well as ruffle underpants, dress up clothes, frilly dresses, high heals and yes dating ( hopefully she'll wait until she is 20!!! ) All this, PLUS her schooling to become a Successful Woman and then she can look back on her childhood days and
