On Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 11:00am till 1:00pm at Middletown’s Chamber of Commerce, At-Large council member and current Vice Mayor Anita Scott Jones will host an event where residents of the first ward can come meet with her and voice there concerns about there ward and the city.

I spoke to Scott-Jones a few days ago and she is hoping for a nice crowd on the 20th. It will be interesting to see how many concerned citizens show up. | Just out of curiosity, if you get a large crowd say even 50-75 people where do you park down there. Looking at the google maps I see about 18-20 spaces for the Chamber building. |

Thats a god questions, I think people could Park in the back. I think there is a parking lot back there that belongs to Central pastry. I have LOTS of question to ask about Mr. Armbruster's Ward I problems.
1. Where's the Gas Tax money to fix our streets? 2. Why are we using the Sewer & Water funds to fix our streets? 3. After 30 years...How much money is now in the Sewer Fund? |

I applaud Ms. Scott-Jones for having this session. Would be nice to see all others on Council give the citizens a chance to speak/ask questions without the contraints of the 3 minute/non-Council response Citizen Comments session during Council meetings. I wonder if all can attend, not just 1st Ward folks???? She occupies an "at-large" position which encompassed the entire town. I would hope that nothing is out of play as to subject discussion.
How about it Councilmembers? Are the rest of you willing to follow her lead or don't you care what we have to say?
