BAIL 'EM OUT!!! ??? Back in 1990, the federal government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. This was during the "me decade" of the nineties, yet they failed and it closed. Now, we are trusting the economy of our country, our banking system, our auto industry, our health plans, and our very health itself to the same nitwits who couldn't make money running a cat house and selling whiskey?!?!?

Don't forget that in 1978 Jimmy Carter (I think) set up the federal BOE. At that time the American school system was the best in the world by a huge margin. After having the Feds involved for several years, the American school system finished in last place out of 19 industrialized nations last year. This is just one more reason why the scariest words ever heard are: "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."  ------------- Government is not the answer to problems, government is the problem. |
