Was our hero John Boehner there ?

Without our good friend John this coke plant would not have been possible. John has done so much for the economic growth of Middeltown.

I think a bronze statue should be put at the entrance to the coke plant to honor this great congressman. Maybe even name the coke plant "The John Boehner Coke Plant".  Clap

No John Boehner was not there. This was a democrat constituency but you could not tell they were democrats due to the rhetoric being so pro-business, pro-carbon production and anti-tax.

I thought only republicans were the agents of business and commerce.

All the speeches were quite good because they made you feel like this community was part of the foundation of Ohio and the United States.

John - Well you know there is not much difference between a republican & a democrat these days.

I think Stricklands presence there was just a coincidence as he was headed to Oxford to raise funds.

Policticians are famous for "feel good" speeches. (I'm just so optimistic) Big%20smile
