Well, well, well.......seems the city collected over 14 million in fed payout money with the bulk of that going to the Section 8 program in handouts to the landlords by their buddies down at city hall. Even the auditor said that this was an "exceptional amount for a city this size"....imagine that.
Out of 14 million, 10.5 million went to Section 8. No wonder we aren't getting the roads (or anything else) fixed in a timely manner. Need more to road fixin' and less to this dam welfare program. This town is "ate up" with the destitute segment of society. Another 310 thou went to the police, transit and for the city to make "energy efficient improvements" which means exactly what???? 
It is comforting to know that the bulk of this money is going to place our tax dollars into the pockets of the very people who are supplying the housing that makes our town the ghetto it has become in some areas. Enough of this crap. Time to gut city hall council. What are you waiting for? Get the city manager and her little disciples out of here, now, before we reach a point of no return on fixing this mess....(if we're not already there and just don't know it). |

Yep and I'll bet a lot of money exchanged hands several times on that $10.5 million too.
Not that I would accuse anyone at city hall of being a crook,we know what fine people we have running this town.  ------------- No more democrats no more republicans,vote Constitution Party !! |
