MIDDLETOWN — A man was shot at his home on the 2100 block of Roosevelt Avenue early Wednesday morning.

Two men — wearing masks — allegedly confronted Robert Fugate inside his home, where Fugate was shot one time, according to a news release from the Middletown Division of Police.

After being shot, Fugate stumbled onto Roosevelt Avenue, where he was found by police. The Middletown Division of Fire arrived and transported Fugate to Atrium Medical Center.

As of 11: 20 a.m., there is no word on his condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
