Thanx to MUSA for the heads up on the Flag Day tribute.
Seems the CITY and the local paper weren't interested in promoting this event! Imagine that !?
Small turnout due to lack of promotion.
Note the size of the flag to the size of the jumper.

They didn't have any ceremonies here at Wright-Patt yesterday either for Flag Day. You would have thought a military installation would have recognized the flag, right? Not so. Just not important enough I guess.  This was a very nice thing to do for the jumpers to pay tribute to the flag.

| It was a beautiful sight yesterday. Also, about 45 Aeronca arrived for their convention this weekend. They think 100+ will show, public welcome. |
