Didn't Ron Johnson, the Middie's old coach go up north to coach Canton McKinley? Looks like he didn't have much luck either judging by the scores. I'm afraid Middletown and Coach Krause will absorb at least 3 more losses this year. Warren Central, Princeton and Colerain. I predict, at best, a 6-4 season and no playoff spot. Better than Johnson's coaching, but not back to Middletown standards of the 60's yet. Need to give Coach Krause at least 5 more years to upgrade the program.( If he stays). It took many years to destroy it and many more to make it competitive again, but we can't keep changing coaches every two years and expect continued progress.

Middletown did a respectable job while playing Warren Central. Coach Krause has them playing at a higher level now. Tough schedule opening with Elder, then playing a top rated team from Indianapolis. Should help them compete with Princeton and Colerain later on. Coach Krause is moving the program, although early in the game, in the right direction. Tougher competition, even while absorbing losses, creates a program performing at a higher level. Nice job, coach.

Congratulations to Coach Krause/players on the team's 4-2 record. A real test coming up with Colerain. Princeton looks "beatable". This could be a very decent first season under Coach Krause, given the competition. Nice job so far.
