Thomas J. Howatt, president and CEO of Wausau Paper, said, "Adjusted net earnings increased from the second quarter and approached year-ago levels despite deteriorating economic conditions and historically high input costs."
 
Wausau operates a Towel and & Tissue plant in Middletown, Ohio.
