Our city lost one of its greatest treasures last Thursday night.  Mr. Sherron epitomized what it meant to be a servant leader, through his lifelong devotion to his church, the Middletown Historical Society, and the Boy Scouts.  A truly great man.

After reading the chest-thumping sos back and forth in the prior topic, it hit me square that this topic is FARmire meaningful.
We have lost a strong personality who was dedicated to the outstanding personal growth qualities inherent within the scouting program.
The # of young lives partially shaped by this man has to be huge.
I bow my head to a man who contributed so much of his life to our community.

Condolences and thanxto the family.
Thanx for the heads up scouter!

Agreed, SJ.  If we had a few less keyboard warriors and a few more Everett Sherrons around, this community would be a far better place.
