Do we have a Starbucks in Middletown? I don't think so. Based on recent reports, we probably never will.

Check out these recent headlines:

Starbucks plans to close 300 more shops as profit drops - by Matt Andrejczak
Starbucks not providing revenue, earnings guidance - MarketWatch
Starbucks to eliminate around 6,000 positions - MarketWatch
Starbucks plans to cut 700 non-store partners - MarketWatch
Starbucks to cut new store openings target in U.S. to 140 - MarketWatch

I wonder how Kidd Coffee in Middletown is doing?

I believe there is a Starbucks within the east end Kroger location.
Local coffee shops seem to be struggling, despite being very nice places.

Come on people--support your local coffee shops!
Though it is kinda crazy to pay $3-$4 for a candied cup of milk and coffee.

Yeah there is a smal company owned Kiosk in Krogers.  The Heck with Kroger and Starbucks support you small  independent businesses in Middletown.   Clap
