In 1956 and 1957, Lucas led his hometown Middletown Middies to back-to-back undefeated seasons and Ohio High School State Chamionship titles.
It's about time he was honored. Thanks Jerry Lucas for bringing Middletown to the national spotlight, without wearing a cow costume.
I have met you one time at my office (about 10 years ago). You were with your wife and I was sure honored to meet you.
Congratulations, you are one awesome Middletown community member.
