Atrium Medical Center to hold Steps 4 HEALing Walk & Family Festival
The HEAL program at Atrium Medical Center will be hosting its annual Steps 4 HEALing Walk and Family Festival on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Niederman Family Farm, 5110 LeSourdsville-West Chester Road, in Liberty Twp. This walk is a tribute to the inspiration of bereaved family and to the memory of the children they have lost.
Installation of New Officers for Nathaniel Sackett Chapter NSDAR Monroe
The Installation of New Officers was the highlight of the NSDAR Nathaniel Sackett Chapter meeting on May 15, at the Monroe Community Room. Serving three years as Chapter Regent, Peggy Abernathy of Monroe, handed the reigns over to Lois Sergent of Hamilton. Following the meeting, Peggy mentioned the highlights of serving as Chapter Regent were, Becoming more active in DAR projects and community events, winning a national award for increased membership and forming lasting friendships.

In an effort to meet the needs of the community, Atrium Medical Center is resuming its monthly Parkinsons support group. The group is open to patients, spouses, family, friends and caregivers to attend. The local support group is an informal setting offering an exchange of practical and useful information about treatments, research, and lifestyle adaptations and an opportunity for people to connect and share similar experiences and tips for living with Parkinsons Disease.

Disneys MY SON, PINOCCHIO JR. is playing at the Performing Arts Academys Ben Bender Theatre at 4400 Lewis Street, Middletown, March 1, 2, 8 & 9 at 7:00 PM and March 3 & 10 at 3:00 PM. The musical is based on the made-for-television movie Geppetto with original music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a few tunes from the 1940 Disney classic Pinocchio. The cast contains 27 students led by Nina Markle and Leah Busick.
