If I had the money, I'd buy it.

Do you think the woodwork and walls are torn up after all those years as an apartment complex? We would probably all have sticker shock at the cost of renovation after assorbing the cost of the actual property. After these costs, you would never recover your money on resale. Wonder how many boilers/furnaces it has and the monthly utility costs for winter heat and summer cooling? Would make a great bed and breakfast/museum/small casino(if it were allowed in Ohio) if there was development around the river and an entertainment package with Forest Hills/Tennis Club for dining, tennis and golf. Other than that, what would you offer for entertainment in that location given the lack of growth in the downtown area? Would really be nice to see it restored by a family/philanthropist to it's original condition.

I have never been inside the place but if anyone is going over for a showing with their real-estate agent let me know I would love to get some pictures. : )

Hopefully someone who wants to restore it would buy it.  It would make a great museum - Hint Hint Historical Society?
