Butler County Treasurer Nancy Nix, in
conjunction with Ohio State Treasurer Richard Cordray, is presenting a free
workshop on Monday, February 25 at Butler Tech’s auditorium, 3603
Hamilton-Middletown Road. The 6-8 pm workshop is designed to help those with
bad credit ratings and those who want to protect their good credit ratings.
All materials are provided by the State

Treasurer at 800-228-1102. Already 80 people have signed
up.
Attendees will learn the 12 steps to
taking control of credit card debt, how to deal with income loss, divorce,
medical bills and foreclosure. Several Butler County agencies serving people
with financial difficulties will be on hand with information about their
services.
Butler County cities and public servants
have joined together to support the efforts of Treasurer Nix as a way to meet
the financial crisis facing a growing number of Butler County families. Local
partners supporting the workshop include: Butler County Commissioners Furmon,
Dixon and Jolivette, Butler County Auditor Kay Rogers, the cities of Hamilton,
Middletown, Fairfield, Trenton and Monroe.
