Board Chairman, Stuart Robinson of Robinson Heating & Air, announced today that Rick Pearce has been named the new Chamber President/CEO. "We are very excited to have Rick join the Chamber. He brings a unique knowledge of the area, business community, and skill set to the position and we look forward to his involvement", says Robinson. "I am very excited about this opportunity. I look forward to working with the members and learning about their businesses, and the challenges that lie ahead," said Pearce. Dennis Gamble of PCC Internet Group, Chamber Chair Elect, said "we are thrilled about what Rick brings to the position and I'm excited to get an opportunity to work with him in the years to come."
Pearce is a graduate of Middletown High School and Miami University. Since 1997, Pearce has been the director of operations for Omnicom Solutions Group, (formerly The Fourth R). He also spent many years with Middfest International and with an advertising agency in Cincinnati. Pearce has been a long time community volunteer and a member of the 1999 Chamber Leadership class. Early in 2013 the Chamber embarked upon a major effort to better define and direct their efforts and resources. This includes an internal reorganization bringing in new leadership to help the officers and directors refocus on the direction of the organization. A few programs have been dropped and many have been redirected, while some new programs and activities have been introduced and adopted. Member service is top priority - "The Taste Test" for all chamber programs will be - - Will this effort make it easier for our members to do business and succeed in our service area? Will this effort add value to what the member is getting from their membership in the Chamber?
Stuart Robinson, now serving as Chairman of the Board, the Chamber's top volunteer position, along with members of his leadership team, is determined to succeed in the organization's efforts to really make a difference by improving the business climate in Butler and Warren Counties. "The Monroe, Trenton and Middletown area, along with our neighbors of Franklin and Lebanon are going to grow and prosper. One of our most important responsibilities is to manage that growth to maximize and emphasize quality growth for the long term economic health of our area," says Robinson.
"We think our successful recruitment of Rick is a giant step in the right direction in refocusing the Chamber. Rick knows the community and our primary service area very well," says Dennis Gamble, Chair Elect.
