Premier Health Opens Monroe Medical Office Building

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Community Open House December 6, 2018

MONROE, Ohio (December 4, 2018) – Premier Health will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. and community open house from 4 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 6, for a new medical office building that will house both primary and specialty care physicians. The 19,300- square-foot building is located at 35 Overbrook Blvd. in Monroe.

This facility will act as a Premier Physician Network primary and specialty care center,” said Diane Pleiman, president of Premier Physician Network. “It will provide patients from Monroe and the surrounding communities a single point of multidisciplinary services close to home. Our goal is to make their health care convenient, streamlined, and comprehensive – while at the same time easy to access.”

The medical office building will have space for 8 primary care providers and will offer specialty services in orthopedics, and possibly in cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, or women’s health.

The project, a collaborative investment of approximately $4.5 million, represents growth and expansion for Premier Health in the Monroe area and surrounding communities. The contractor for the project is Al.Neyer.

When fully staffed, the Monroe location will have approximately 22 employees; 6 of those positions will be new. Monroe Medical Center has relocated to the new site in Suite 100. The practice includes Dyrk Van Valkenburg, MD, Maurice Swanson, MD, Joe Burghard, MD, Christopher Eppley, MD, and Tricia Neu, NP. Monroe Medical Center is accepting new patients and can be reached by calling (513) 539-7356.

In addition, Premier Orthopedics will open a satellite location at the new Monroe site in suite 110. This location will include Richard L. Davis II, MD, who is fellowship trained in hip and knee replacements. Premier Orthopedics operates 13 locations around Southwest Ohio with 26 physicians serving patients in comprehensive sports medicine and orthopedic care. Premier Orthopedics is accepting new patients and can be reached by calling (513) 424-7711.

Integrated patient care with multidisciplinary care teams in one location creates a comprehensive and convenient environment to care for patients,” said Steven Robbe, MD, Premier Physician Network Board Chair. “We strive to make the patient experience optimal.”

The community open house will offer tours and an opportunity to meet providers along with free food, free first aid kits, and a balloon artist for kids.
