Re-election of State Central Committeewoman Mary L. Swain
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 11:27:10 AM - Middletown Ohio

Mary L. Swain is running for re-election as the State Central Committeewoman for District 4 (Butler County). She is a strong Conservative who has held this position since 2002. She was overwhelmingly endorsed by the Butler County Republican party.

Mary is a staunch supporter of the Republican principles of fiscal responsibility, family values, and in defending our Constitutional rights.

Mary is currently the Butler County Republican Party’s Regional Chair for Region 6 (which encompasses Madison, St. Clair, and Wayne Townships and the City of Trenton). She is also the Vice President of the Middletown Area Republican Club.

Her past accomplishments include Central Committee Chairperson of the Butler County Republican Party, member of the Butler County Board of Elections, having twice served on the Ohio Republican Party Screening Committee of Ohio State Supreme Court Justice Nominees, a member of the Southern Ohio Leadership Conference, and served as a precinct leader in Madison Township for the Bush/Cheney campaign.

She is also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Associates and of the National Rifle Association.

The Republican State Central Committee is made up of a man and woman from each of the state’s 33 Senatorial districts, who are the representatives to the Ohio Republican Party.

I've known Mary for a number of years and Butler County could not have a better representative on the State Central Committee.

Mary's experience and dedication have enabled her to develop influence with the Ohio Republican Party leadership, giving Butler County a strong voice at the state party level.

Mary's salary is paid by the taxpayers but the work she does on their dime is for the BC GOP. Her door is locked and her blinds are closed so that nobody sees how much time she spends on her cell phone doing party business. My job takes me to the 3rd floor of the Government Services Center and I have seen this with my own eyes. Every job she has ever had has been because of her political activities, which is her true motive for being such a "staunch supporter of the Republican principles." If the GOP and elected officials want to reward her for helping them get elected, they should pay for it out of campaign contributions or their own pockets, not with taxpayer money. I think when a forum like this praises someone, the readers should know all the facts.

Dear "In The Know" - If her door is locked and her blinds are closed how do you have any earthly idea what she is doing? How do you have any FACUTAL information? Please do not get on a message board and claim to have facts but only post slander. If you are truly "in the know" maybe you should start by using your real name.

Mary is one of the smartest hardest working people one will ever meet. She is one of those people that has her heart and head in the right place. She works hard for the people and causes she believes in and we, the members of the GOP, are lucky to have her on our side. Thank you for all you do Mary! You have our support and our vote!

Mary Swain's last vote in Columbus ensured Mike DeWine is back on the ballot for 2010. Her job only requires 2 or 3 votes per year and she continues to act as a sock puppet for politicians like Voinovich, DeWine, Taft and McCain. This is why the GOP continues to loose, and Mary is to blame for her votes
