Star City Haunted Tales Dinner
Thursday, October 18, 2018 4:42:11 PM - Middletown Ohio

MIAMISBURG – The Star City Haunted Tales dinner is a fundraiser for the Baum Opera House and the Miamisburg Historical Society at Bullwinkle’s Top Hat Bistro featuring a special menu and local ghost hunter and haunting historian, Tim Smiley as the guest speaker. The dinner is Saturday, October 20, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $35 per person.

The Fall Feast dinner includes butternut squash soup, harvest salad, apple pecan pork loin or hunter style chicken, sweet potato casserole, green beans, and blackberry cobbler for dessert. Drinks and gratuity are included. Alcohol and specialty drinks are available for purchase.

Tim Smiley is the founder, director and lead investigator of the Parallel Truth Paranormal Investigators. Founded in 2009, this group’s main goal is to help people determine if they have paranormal activity in their lives, educate them about such activity, and help them understand what might be done about it. Tim will be sharing about paranormal activity in general and things he and his team have discovered about activity in Miamisburg.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Baum Opera House at 937-859-8120, emailing at thebaumoperahouse@gmail.com, or stopping by during business hours (Tuesday – Thursday 10 AM – 2 PM). The deadline to purchase tickets is October 15.

All proceeds go to benefit the Baum Opera House and the Miamisburg Historical Society. The funds generated from this event will go toward the installation of stage lighting at the Baum and the restoration of the Hatfield Buggyabout.

The Baum Opera House Association’s mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance the Historical Baum Opera House in an effort to maintain the character of downtown Miamisburg and thus, enrich the community. The Baum Opera House serves as a base for the arts in Miamisburg by encouraging cultural activities such as concerts, recitals, theater productions, art shows and exhibits, and other community uses. The Miamisburg Historical Society strives to bridge the gap between the past and the present through public education, social functions, and the preservation of local landmarks.

For more information, contact The Baum Opera House at 937-859-8120 or thebaumoperahouse@gmail.com or the Miamisburg Historical Society at 937-859-5000.
