Did you know that the city of Middletown maintains http://www.cityofmiddletown.org/?

I have not seen it advertised anywhere and its a good start on getting Middletown on the net.

Just a few criticisms.

1. Recent news postings, sparse and the top story is Mexican Cheese Recall.
2. Need better news directly from the various departments .
3. You have a redirect from old EDC page that has a spelling error:
...We're sorry for the inconveniance but...

This is a step in the right direction. But the city needs to work at getting better and more important content, plus someone ought to be blogging about this new website so you can get traffic.

good catch, king!

Wow--now we will REALLY be on the bad list.

Sorry Mr.Wood--with the increased city presence around here now, you must go to the back of the line if you want to put the screws to this group!

Spider,

Happy to be here. Thanks for you comments. I hope the city does read this sites posts and understands their PR and lack of disclosure is obvious to many. My experience with the city in the last 15 years has mostly been with the serving city manager. Council may be their boss but what they tell council is a very different thing. On average it has taken 2 years to go around council and others at city hall to get something done. The last twist of their arm was to get them back downstairs and on TVM.

Oh they read it...then they simply dismiss it!!!
