The Middletown city council will hold an emergence meeting tonight at council chambers to discuss the Sutphin Street road repair project.

Repair has been halted on this major street project for about two weeks now due to a lack of funds to complete the street repair. Money was set aside to take on this project, but unforeseen problems have led to the need for more money in order to continue the work.

The question now becomes where and how will the City of Middletown come up with the money to fix the issues at hand?

The first question is did  engineering dept. look close enough at this project to give a assessment of repairs needed. These things do occour but i am wondering why at 5 WEEKS into the project  we have to shut it down Our city seems more often than not  to have very slow reaction time to detail {example maybe thats why emerg. leg is so often needed. No business coudl make it with slow and costly  moves such like what we see  our city management make.
