   Middletown Police have launched a search in and around the Great Miami River after a human foot was discovered Monday afternoon along the bank.

Two men fishing found the foot along the east bank of the river, north of the Germantown Road bridge, according to Lt. Walter Scott Reeve.

Reeve said officers searched for additional body parts and will continue to search. The Butler Counyy Sheriff's office and other agencies are helping with the effort.
