   I was thinking today about the Middletown Journal disabling all user comments on their website. I am not sure why they did this, but I think people would like to comment on things from the paper. 

With that said I have created a new area to leave comments from articles taken from the Journal and other places that I find news about Middletown or the country. 

What is going to be different about this part of the form is that we here are the only ones that can post stories and anyone can leave a comment, and you do not need to be a member of the forum to leave a comment on the stories posted there.

	Good work Randy ! I noticed the Journal wants people to leave comments via their facebook page. Must be easier to delete comments that way and better control over who says what.

	This new section can be found under the header Middletown Community look for the topic News Stories. It will be there until I figure a better place to put it. If you read something in the paper and would like to see it placed here for comments please send me an email andI will try to get on here for you.

	If they don't "let you get away with this" as onlyinMiddletown states. Just post a title to the article summarize it in you own words in a sentence or two and then post a link to it on MiddletownUSA. That should solve any copyright issues, just use your editorial license for the title and synopsis.

	I dont think this will be an issue if it is I will deal with it. For now I just wanna give people a place to talk the the stories they are writing.

	Some papers make an issue of it some don't.
