I hate to see beautiful buildings demolished. This would be a tragedy, but I expect it will happen.
No market for old buildings these days.

People will go through a lot of money to keep something they feel has significant historic value, though. I'm not sure the old library has enough historic significance to be worth spending a lot of money on, but I'm not exactly a history preservation enthusiast either. |

It's hard to put a price on our heritage. I just wonder if the building would even be in this situation had it been a little closer to downtown where it seams quite acceptable to spend money to keep the town looking nice. |
